I can’t be sure, but I doubt my energy level would have been able to keep up with our usual Thanksgiving Day plans. I brought a small energy drink along but didn’t need it. I’ll be going to bed earlier since I had to skip a nap, but I got my gradual exercise in.
If my incisions don’t have stitches, what does that put me at compared to Ty and Brady?

My snoring pug and my rumbling belly are sounding/feeling identical while I try to fall asleep. Too tired to post a video right now.
Tuesday the 24th, 1:45 pm
Turns out my glasses work when I wear them. I had four medical professions checking on me at the time when I learned they were construction fencing, a port-a-potty, and large machinery. It was still relaxing to watch the hikers, bikers, and occasional dogs play on the trails.
This next part includes my experience of being tested for COVID shortly after surgery.
Last night, this is how my day looked. I managed to work most of my shift before having to chill out. Colon prep is not fun to go through, but I pulled it off.
Another cancer survivor in a group I’m part of about how I’d like a picture of my hedgehog mascot and the hydra named Lupus. “Challenge accepted.”
I scrolled through the small group today and saw this. I actually gasped when I saw it. It helped another person too. “That’s just how it feels. Spot on.”
It’s amazing how many strangers are helping me in little yet significant ways.

I met with some of my team at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Surgery is set for the 20th. I get to help research why younger people are becoming more likely to have colon cancer.
Doctor Walker gives us the results. It’s a relief to be able to name what’s going on.
